Indigo Stretching its Muscle with new Business Class

On its 18th anniversary, Indigo has announced the introduction of its Business Class services starting in November on select key routes, beginning with the Delhi to Mumbai route.

Business Class Tickets and Flight Routes

Indigo's initial strategy is to launch this service at a cost of INR 18,018 on the Delhi – Mumbai route, as specified above. Their focus will be on specific metro-to-metro routes initially, aiming to cover all 12 routes by the conclusion of the following year, in 2025.

Indigo Business Stretch Class Seats

Indigo's business class, referred to as Indigo Stretch, promises a comfortable journey with coupe-style, 2-seat wide bays.

The seats are designed to provide maximum comfort, featuring a spacious pitch of 38 inches and a width of 21.3 inches, offering ample space for prospective passengers to relax. The Premium seating includes a 6-way adjustable headrest with neck support, a 5-inch deep incline for added comfort, along with an Electronic Device Holder equipped with a 60W USB Type C Power Supply and a 3 Pin Universal Power Outlet.

Handpicked Meal Choices

Indigo is collaborating with Oberoi Catering Services to provide thoughtfully selected nutritious meal options. Complimentary vegetarian meal boxes and a variety of beverages will be available for business class passengers.

Indigo's Growth Plan

Indigo has revealed its intention to utilize wide-body aircraft (such as the Boeing 777 on the Delhi - Istanbul route).

By 2027, the airline aims to commence operations using Airbus 350-900 planes, aiming to appeal to a fresh segment of passengers seeking enhanced comfort and convenience on domestic routes. Additionally, they will soon launch new international routes too.
